Membership Application
Prior to the rush events, please submit your application by the deadline. The application contains several writing prompts that require answers containing a considerable amount of detail. Please provide as much input as possible to allow the Executive Board to have a clear picture of you and your passion for medicine!
Application Deadline: Monday, January 16 at 11:59 PM
Membership Requirements
Requirements to Rush PhiDE:
Must be in good academic standing
Have a minimum of a 3.2 UF GPA
We cannot accept first-semester freshmen at this time--if you are a freshman who started attending UF in Spring 2023, we encourage you to apply and rush in the Fall!
We accept Summer B 2022 and Fall 2022 freshmen.
We accept juniors who transferred from another community college or university. We will require you to show us your transcript as proof of your GPA.
Be able to maintain a 75% attendance rate at events and chapter meetings, which are calculated separately
Pay New Member Dues, if accepted, no later than Thursday, February 2nd

Info Session #1
January 12, 2023
Are you interested in joining Phi Delta Epsilon and want to know more about us? Come to our first info session and listen to our executive board talk about our values, events, philanthropy, recruitment process, and member testimonials! After the info session, come meet the exec board and some of our members at our Huey Magoo's fundraiser!

Info Session #2
January 13, 2023
Couldn't make it to the first info session? No worries, we have a second info session and it's in person! The information is exactly as presented as in the first info session, so do not worry about missing anything!

Rush
January 18, 2023
Are you committed to joining Phi Delta Epsilon? Come to our rush event and meet our members on a personal level while participating in our rush activities! We would love to get to know you better as well as your passion for medicine!
Dress Code: Business Casual
Location: Arredondo Cafe at the Reitz Union
Time: 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM
Invitationals
January 23, 2023
After the inital rush event, you will have the chance of attending our invite-only event to meet and talk to more of our members on a deeper level! We will reach out to you regarding whether you are invited back to invitationals.

Interviews
January 26-27, 2023
When you are invited back to invitationals, you are also guaranteed an interview spot with two of our fraternity's members. The interviews will be 15-20 minutes long in which we will discuss your drive and passion for medicine. You will receive word from the board about the status of your membership in the fraternity 1-2 days after your interview.

Bid Day
January 30, 2023
Congratulations on passing the rush process and the interviews! At this time, you will be offered a bid to join Phi Delta Epsilon, and you will meet more of our members while engaging in fun activities.
